As a capacity building institution that runs workshops, trainings and conferences which focus on transparency, integrity and increased demand for accountability, PAACA has several citizen-based anti-corruption networks across the 774 local government Area of Nigeria comprising of community members, traditional and religious leaders, labour and trade union leaders, targeted at generating and articulating citizen voice to demand accountability and elicit enforcement of sanction when public office fails.
PAACA’s invaluable human resources, with decades of industry experience, especially in policy advocacy and human right activism has been responsible for the successful implementation of its projects. Citizens engagement has remained the core of PAACA’s principle as the organization believes that effective citizen participation and inclusion in governance is key to achieving development, peace and security in the country. Hence in implementing its anti-corruption activities PAACA has sought and ensured collaborations between government at various levels and the people to promote and ensure successful implementation of progressive policies of government geared towards improving the quality of governance in the country. Achieving these requires vast knowledge of issues, analytical skills and experience in advocacy which years of designing strategies of engagement and implementation have afforded the staff and management of PAACA the desired advantage in implementing accountability projects.
The organization has remained consistent in advancing its mission to improve governance in Nigeria, especially as it relates to quality public service delivery and promoting public participation in governance by guiding its anti-corruption networks across the country to remain passionate about improving public service delivery, holding government accountable and promoting inclusivity in governance.

Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), PAACA is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization that works to promote and strengthen citizens’ engagement with government institutions. Principally, PAACA programs are targeted at increasing social accountability movement, youth and gender inclusiveness, support and promote electoral reforms, legislative engagement, and advance anti-corruption campaigns.
Over the last decade, we have focused on amplifying the message of integrity, transparency, accountability and justice amongst a wider population, increase demand for accountability, good governance and encourage popular mobilization against corrupt practices and injustice.
